Ant-Man and the Wasp just released a new poster for the movie the day before, the next day the next trailer. At this point in time, all eyes are obviously on Avengers: Infinity War, but fans do not forget that there are only a few more months to come, the next MCU movie to be released. The sequel to Ant-Man soon gained much media attention due to the influence of the Infinity War and the Black Panther this year. Although the two main characters are not present in the Infinity War, fans will see what they do before the battle, as Ant-Man and The Wasp will be set before Thanos appears.
The campaign for Ant-Man and The Wasp has just begun, with a poster and trailer being announced. Now the Infinity War has been screened in theaters all over the world, it’s also time for the heroes of our size to advance to the big screen.
Evangeline Lilly himself shared the new poster of Ant-Man and the Wasp, in which she would become the first superhero to take on the lead role in a MCU movie. Evangeline Lilly and Paul Rudd appeared in the front and center of the poster, without a hat. The poster was designed to highlight the two main characters alike, with red and yellow tones intertwined as the background. The Wasp is the highest ranking character in the poster, the latest evidence for her ability to play a more important role than Ant-Man in the new film. Ant-Man and The Wasp revolve around Hope van Dyne’s mother’s rescue (the real name of The Wasp), so The Wasp’s main role in the poster is understandable.
This poster also shows us Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne aka Wasp for the first time. This picture confirms many people’s prediction that Janet will still grow old despite spending decades in Quantum Realm. She also appeared in her own outfit, and since the entire design has not been revealed, we can assume that this is the outfit she wore in the 1980s.
Today, Marvel released a new trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp, providing more information on the sequel. In the trailer, the two main characters appear with more action phase through the use of Pym particles. The trailer also adds story content, bringing Team Ant-Man to the first-ever Wasp search journey (Michelle Pfeiffer).

The trailer once again centers on The Wasp and the process of becoming a hero as the fate of the set. She appears mostly in action scenes, and they are all excellent. Although the audience was familiar with Ant-Man’s resizing process, it seems that director Peyton Reed has found a better way to bring The Wasp’s ability to the big screen. We also know this will be an emotional movie for her, because the trailer has alluded to the rescue mission Janet van Dyne – and the picture above is the reaction of Hope when first encountered his mother after many years away.
We also know a bit more about Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) when it seems she is also trying to get right into Quantum Realm. Also seen is the image of Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, and whether Fishburne is up or not is still unknown, but the poster Ant-Man and The Wasp at least pointed out that Janet will contribute a part force. Asking what Ant-Man and The Wasp did without being in the Infinity War does not necessarily have to be the answer, but perhaps that’s the mystery Marvel is waiting for in this movie. Until then, a vividly accurate trailer is what Ant-Man and The Wasp needs now to remind people why they should expect this movie when it hits theaters in a few months.
